Killer Little Bunny
Most people spend Easter searching for chocolate, but I’m tracking a man who thinks he’s at the top of the food chain. Hugh Atwater is a "trophy hunter" cliché with a bank account as big as his ego, a list of illegal kills, and a thirst for land that isn't his. My objective is clear: end his hunting days for good and leave a trail of breadcrumbs that leads everywhere except back to me or my clients.
The problem is that I’m not the only hunter in these woods, and some of the locals have much sharper teeth than I do. But when a request for help comes from an old friend, I don't turn them down—no matter how dangerous the game gets.

Killer Little Bunny by Joan De La Haye is another solid, fast-paced installment in Marin's story. Because it is such a short book, the action moves rapidly and the kill itself is super quick. My only real critique is that the character development feels a bit sparse this time around, even by short story standards, and I found myself wishing for just a little more depth on a few of Marin's allies that appear.
However, what makes this entry stand out is a shift in Marin's usual MO. The reasoning behind why she does it is a great touch, adding a refreshing twist to the narrative that I can't detail without giving away spoilers. The book wraps up with a good ending that has me fully interested in picking up the next book in the series.
