A Shadow Rises
A fresh start. That's all Lee wants after the brutal murder of his family. So when an old fixer-upper on Chapman Drive appears, beckoning him to create a legacy, it feels like a sign – a desperate plea from the voices of his wife and son, urging him to rebuild.
But 392 Chapman Drive isn't just a house. It's a gaping maw of secrets, its very walls breathing a sinister presence that grows louder, more demanding, with every swing of a hammer. Lee came to renovate a house, but what if the house has other plans for him?
What horrors lie buried in its foundations? And can a new beginning ever truly erase an old, blood-soaked past when the house itself refuses to let go?

A Shadow Rises pulled me in with its mysterious and eerie atmosphere. I loved the way Erica Damon created a sense of suspense while keeping me curious about where the story was headed.
I’m a fan of this author’s writing, and this short read delivered. The ending twist was well executed and added a great final touch that made the story even more memorable
If you like eerie mysteries, suspenseful twists, and atmospheric storytelling, then you will enjoy this book.
