The Last Nanny
Trey’s phone passcode hadn’t changed in years. Did he not care what I found, or was he secretly hoping to get caught?
On paper, Piper Young has it all: the Hope Ridge mansion, the successful husband, and the new baby. In reality, she’s barely keeping her head above water. Desperate for help and tired of nannies who flirt with her husband or steal the silver, Piper hires Lily Stevens.
Lily seems like the answer to a prayer. She soothes the baby and brings order to the chaos. But the moment Lily and Trey are in the same room, the dynamic changes. The air turns heavy. Strange accidents start happening. Piper can’t shake the feeling that her "perfect" solution has just invited a nightmare into her home. Can she trust the stranger sleeping down the hall?

It is a rare feat for the third book in a series to be the best one yet, but The Last Nanny manages to do exactly that. Perhaps most impressively, you do not need to read the first two books to appreciate this one. It functions perfectly as a standalone, allowing new readers to jump right in without feeling lost or having a lot of backstory to 'catch up on' before you get to the action.
One of the highlights for me was the cast size. It felt manageable and focused, allowing for decent character development without getting bogged down by too many names or subplots. The pacing was excellent, punctuated by a few genuinely good twists throughout and a finale that landed perfectly.
The ending left me excited and hoping Rosemary Willhide announces a Book 4, as there is clearly more life left in this series. Highly recommended for fans who have stuck with the series this far - it pays off!
