Insomnaria
Shattered by severe sleep deprivation and unexplainable gaps in his memory, Jackson looks to Melinox for a cure. The sessions successfully quiet his mind and relax his body, allowing his heavy thoughts to drift away. But as his consciousness slips, Jackson realizes he has walked right into a psychological trap. His thoughts are no longer his own, proving that while surrender is easy, something malevolent is always waiting to take control of whatever you leave behind.

Sienna Rae packs a massive amount of mind-bendy chaos into a small page count with Insomnaria. They have a distinct talent for unsettling atmosphere, leaning hard into surreal imagery that gets under your skin.
Even with the short length, the narrative occasionally stalls due to the middle feeling a bit repetitive.
The ending is an absolute trip, and I am still debating whether it was purposefully ambiguous or just vague. The final confrontation hits hard and it left me staring at the wall. I appreciate that they refuse to hand-hold the reader, but I needed a fraction more grounding to feel satisfied by the conclusion. It is a wildly creative read, just one that requires a high tolerance for unresolved chaos.
